These unusual notebooks are made with recycled materials, where practical. The covers are made from treated, strengthened and sealed corrugated card. They are extremely tough and durable, and with care will last for many years. They are water resistant and can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth.

The covers are decorated with multiple layers of acrylic paints and mediums giving a deep, rich lustrous finish, some with subtle metallic sheen, and come in a range of earth/autumn tones and in violets, blues, greens, and 'old gold'. Most have a raised design made from a variety of mixed media or polymer clay.
